Wow! Where to begin? Our next-door neighbor used Eddie at Y9 Construction for a complete downstairs renovation in their home. We loved the work Eddie did for them so we hired him to do our renovation which included all new flooring, paint, cabinetry and countertops in the kitchen, bathroom, and laundry room, and a new staircase. As with any big renovation, issues would arise here and there, but Eddie would always work with us and his team to find the best solution. We are very happy with the way our project turned out and highly recommend Y9 Construction!

Shy led a masterful remodeling effort, staying on time, within his promised price range, and the final product was excellent. We redid many different parts of my condo (new kitchen, flooring, expanded the laundry room), and I am completely happy with every part of it. I am going to use this group for every future remodeling job that I have.

Y9 Construction has just finished our whole first floor remodel with MBR addition. Eddie (owner) worked with me to design my customized and functional dream home. He was "hands on" from start to finish, showed up on time or would advise of delay, and call promptly when needs arose. He is an efficient project manager having simultaneous crew working at the same time to complete the project. His contractors especially electrician (Jose and crew), plumber (Igor and crew), quartz installer (Jose), stairs installer (Carlos), structural (Gilbert) and Jake, Pedro are all professionals and are craftsmen. They had great camaraderie and I loved the positive energy (often heard them singing and laughing) they all had while building my home. Aside from Eddie's professionalism, I loved that he was considerate and generous. He helped me set up my old stove in the garage so my family and I can still have a temporary "kitchen." He even connected my camping sink without being asked. I appreciated the additional details like closet organizers assembly and pantry shelves installation that really completed everything for me. As a gift, board and batten accent wall was added to the MBR. He was very "cool headed" when issues had to be resolved and his prices were fair. In summary, Eddie treated my home project as his own. The project was completed within the time that was estimated. I would work with him again in the future.

Y9 fleshed out my dream kitchen sketches faithfully. The kitchen was 1970s styled closed in and the redesign opened up the kitchen into the dining area. Cabinets with doors are not useful since only articles close to the front are visible. Drawers with full extension provides storage visibility and easy retrieval. The only hanging cabinet is for spices. Eddie suggested that the island with full length drawers be on wheels (genius!), and now space for drawer openings on both sides are maximized, and dining area can be stretched or kitchen can accommodate more people. Cabinetry is meticulous and maple grains were book-matched. Eddie is very ethical and responsive. Highly recommended.

Y9 Construction absolutely TRANSFORMED my home, and in record time! I bought a one bedroom condo in its original 1970s state and needed to move in ASAP due to external reasons. Shay orchestrated a lightning speed remodel with such attention to detail that I was in awe. As a first-time homeowner, I especially appreciate how Shay explained how to coordinate with the HOA and educated me on home maintenance. Hanging a heavy item on the wall? This is how we measure and secure it. Grout cracked? This is why it happened and how we fix it. Shay and Eddie are the best! We interviewed 9 different companies and contractors and as soon as we met Y9, we knew they were the guys we wanted to work with. From our first consultation we started sharing our vision and goals and they started modeling in real time. They listened to all of our ideas and had great recommendations. The quote was not only a fair price, but never increased through the entire process. What they quoted is what we paid after completion. Demo started on time and the job was completed a few days earlier than originally planned. We were shocked that they did such amazing work in a timely fashion. We love our new kitchen and bathrooms and would recommend Y9 to all of our friends.

Y9 construction redesigned the very old kitchen of the house we purchased recently from scratch. Eddie was immensely helpful in the initial planning and design stages, they use a sophisticated program plan everything in great details till the last quarter inch. His insights and advice were spot on. Then the execution phase went very quickly and smoothly with virtually no hiccups. And just like that we got ourselves a beautiful kitchen. They are also very reasonably priced. Would very strongly recommend them!!!

Y9 Construction was incredibly helpful in designing a remodel for my kitchen and bathroom. My goal was to update my space (new cabinets and counters) and add storage in my kitchen; the bathroom needed a tub removed and replaced with a shower and I replaced hardwood floors with tile. Y9 was not only able to create the look I was hoping for...they were helpful in providing suggestions to me (including some great things I didn't know to ask for...you should see my spice drawer and my shower niches)! I live in a condo building with a complicated application process and strict rules for when and how things could be remodeled in the building. Y9 worked through this process graciously. When it was time to pick out materials and fixtures, Y9 knew what I should look for and where - sometimes coming along with me to assist with the process. Y9 worked with everything from design, to demolition, to the rebuild. All tradesmen brought in to work at my home obviously took pride in their work, did a fabulous job and respected my home. I found the whole team to be ontime, reliable and a lot of fun to work with too. The kitchen, bath and floors turned out beautifully. I would hire them again in a heartbeat!

I hired Y9 to do a kitchen, bath and floor remodel. Shay Elmalah was the lead contractor. The whole team was amazing but Shay was Stellar at coordinating the project, answering all of my many questions and his eye for design and details. We had great communication throughout the project.
